A lot of the album’s songs talk about dreams and achieving them, but this one talks about the fear of not achieving them and dying alone and unsuccessful in LA.

I really liked the song, but the reason it placed 9 th was that I liked the other ones more.įavorite Line: “I’m filthy as charged, filthy as charged” “Dancing’s Not A Crime” is a very fun “dance” song with really great vocals and music. I mean, it is a pretty good f-bomb from Brendon.įavorite Line: “Fuck a silver lining! ‘Cause only gold is hot enough!” I also really like the f-bomb in the song. One great thing in the song is also how direct it is it doesn’t take its time, it just dives right in with its message.

Silver Lining was the album’s opening song, and a great one it was! The song is extremely confident and very fun. I did like the idea of it being based on getting drunk, high, and bingeing all the time, and how incredibly bad that is for a person’s health.įavorite Line: “ Searching for a new high, high as the sun, uncomfortably numb ” The reason I put it last was because while it was good, it felt a bit boring and unlikeable compared to the rest of the great songs in the album. I actually really liked this song, which says a lot about the whole album. The last song on this list, which is -as you might have guessed- my least favourite.
